A Message From the Superintendent

I am pleased to take this opportunity as the Superintendent of the Beaumont Unified School District to share with you some of our core beliefs and academic accomplishments. Our district continues to embrace the philosophy that all of our students can and will be successful learners. The Beaumont Unified School District continues to commit resources to provide state of the art educational facilities, safe and secure learning environments, current instructional materials, textbooks, technology, and staff development programs that support and improve instruction and academic success.

As a result of the efforts of our dedicated staff, we are pleased to report the following academic accomplishments. The official 10th grade CAHSEE results have been posted, and Beaumont Unified School District is ranked in the TOP five of all of Riverside County. Our district wide composite API is 800, which ranks us in the top six. Five of our six elementary schools have API scores over 800. Beaumont Unified School District met or surpassed ALL of our API targets district wide, and in ALL subgroups. Over 70% of the students in grade 4 are proficient or advanced in ELA and Math. Both of our middle schools have APIs over 800 and this past year Mountain View Middle School led the district with a 38 point API gain. Both Beaumont High School and Beaumont Adult School received full six year terms of accreditations from the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC) Accrediting Commission.  Sundance Elementary School received its 5th consecutive National Title I Achieving School.
