Beaumont Elementary Band Sign Up
Learn the language of music, make new friends, go on fun trips, and become a star!
Studies show that students who participate in the arts perform better in academic subjects. Every fourth and fifth grader is eligible to participate in his/her elementary school’s instrumental music program. The district provides free class instruction to all* interested fourth and fifth grade students on flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and percussion. We meet two times per week, once for “sectionals,” and once in a full band rehearsal where all instruments are combined. We offer three levels of band: beginning, advanced and honor band. *Students must remain academically eligible to participate in band.

2014-15 LCAP Review
As an involved partner with the Beaumont Unified School District, you have provided your “input” for the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). A team of stakeholder representatives from the district has taken the data from student, staff, parent and community member comments and surveys, as well as the website responses and focus group comments, to write a draft copy of the 2014-15 LCAP.
Please review the Plan and provide your final comments and recommendations. The window to review the document will run through May 12, 2014. The final copy will be prepared for a public hearing at the meeting of the Board of Trustees on June 10, 2014. The official LCAP and District budget for 2014-15 will be approved at the Board meeting on June 24, 2014.
