The Great Kindness Challenge

Beaumont Be Kind All Year

BE KIND WHILE DRIVING

Child safety is our #1 Priority.  We ask all drivers to be MORE careful when driving near schools.

IMPORTANT:

1. Watch for Pedestrians, especially little ones that might be standing behind a car.

2. Keep your speed below 25 mph

3. Arrive with plenty of time to avoid being in a rush.

4. Heed to the Crossing Guard

5. Find a safe place to let out your child

6. Follow the rules of the road

7. Do not block crosswalks or driveways and stay off walkways

8. Use your blinkers to let others know your intentions

9. Double check your blind spots before proceeding and proceed carefully when entering into another vehicle's blind spot areas.

10. KEEP COOL and Practice Being KIND

Our staff's viewscape is wide, so please

FOLLOW THEIR DIRECTIONS.

Keep in mind your children are watching you and learning from your routine.

California DVM:

"Many children have not yet developed the ability to judge speeds and distances well enough to cross the streets when cars are moving fast."  - see the DMV Handbook for more tips!
